IANONI at Global Sources Indonesia 2026: Booth 3C01

17 September 2026

It's 6 pm at the Jakarta International Convention Center and I'm standing on a chair, hanging the last group of padel rackets on the display wall while my colleague argues with a roll of double-sided tape. The purple carpet is down. The STRAK V1 posters are up. Tomorrow morning, Global Sources Indonesia 2026 opens, and for the second year in a row, IANONI is here.

We're in Hall 3, booth 3C01, from September 17 to 19. If you work with sports gear in Southeast Asia — as a distributor, a retailer, or a club owner building out courts — come by. Hold a racket. Most people who visit end up doing that, and honestly, that's the whole point of us flying here with eleven crates of product.

What you can actually pick up at the booth

Last year we learned something the hard way: people don't want to look at rackets behind glass. They want to grip one. So this year, almost everything on the shelves can be picked up and swung.

On the pickleball side, the headliner is the STRAK V1, the same paddle Lingwei Kong used to win mixed doubles at the 2026 PPA Asia Ho Chi Minh Open. It comes in a Power version and a Control version, both built on a T700 raw carbon face over a 16mm honeycomb core. Next to it sit the PRO 3.0 and PRO 4.0, both USA Pickleball Approved, plus a run of entry and intermediate models if you're stocking shelves for beginners rather than tournament players.

Padel players get their own wall. The VECTOR-X is our tournament model, 18K carbon with a diamond shape and a glossy 3D surface. The POWER FORCE (12K carbon) sits in the middle of the range, and the SUPER PRO leans toward control players. We also brought the Nova Burst, our junior racket at 310 to 320 grams, because the question "my kid wants to start padel, what should I buy?" came up at least twice a day last year.

And then there's everything that surrounds the racket, which matters more for clubs than most people expect:

Pickleballs, including a 40-hole model that is USA Pickleball Approved, and the X48 for outdoor play

PRO S tournament padel balls with a wool content around 57 percent

Court equipment: nets in 3m to 7m sizes, court barriers, ball carts, ball launchers

Bags, overgrips, headbands, caps, and a line of quick-dry apparel for both men and women

If you're outfitting a facility, that last category is worth a conversation on its own. We built a club and court equipment program around exactly this mix.

Why Jakarta, and why we came back

Padel in Indonesia is having a moment. I lost count today of how many visitors mentioned a court that opened in their neighborhood this year. Pickleball is moving even faster here — several people told me they started playing during the pandemic and now run sessions with forty regulars.

I'll be honest: when we first added Indonesia to the plan two years ago, we weren't sure the timing was right. Padel was growing in Spain and the Gulf, but Southeast Asia felt earlier. What convinced us was the first show itself. The visitors weren't curious tourists; they were people who already ran shops, leagues, or courts and needed gear they couldn't easily source locally. Quite a few of the meetings on our calendar this week are with people we first met in this same hall.

That's the real reason we came back. A sports trade show in Jakarta is not where you close the biggest orders of the year. It's where you find out who's serious about building the sport in this region, and then you build with them.

Who we're hoping to meet at booth 3C01

Three kinds of conversations tend to work well at our booth.

Distributors and agents covering Southeast Asia. IANONI ships to more than 40 countries and works with over 50 distributors worldwide, with local warehouses in the US and Europe handling fulfillment. If you're looking at padel or pickleball for the first time, we'll walk you through which models move fastest at retail and why.

Clubs and facilities. If you're building courts, you need more than rackets: nets, barriers, balls, scoring flags, flooring. We sponsor tournaments ourselves, from the IANONI Cup Pickleball Tour in Guangzhou to the APEX Padel League, so we know what a club actually burns through in its first year of operation.

Retailers and brand partners who want something of their own. Our co-branding and custom colorway program lets partners put their identity on proven product platforms. It's a conversation, not a form. Bring your logo and your market.

What we got wrong last year

We printed too few catalogs and ran out by noon on day two. We also spent too much time explaining carbon fiber grades when people mostly just wanted to know one thing: which paddle should I hand a first-time player? Good question, by the way. We ended up writing a full beginner pickleball guide because of conversations at this exact show.

So this year we brought twice the demo stock and simplified the wall: tournament gear up front, everyday gear within reach, and someone standing there whose job is to hand you a paddle and shut up while you swing it.

FAQ

Do I need an invitation to visit the booth?

No. Global Sources shows are open to trade visitors, and you can register on the official show website before you go. Once you're in the hall, come straight to 3C01.

Can I try the paddles and rackets at the booth?

Yes, that's the point of the booth. Almost everything on display can be handled, and we keep demo stock of the STRAK V1 and the VECTOR-X specifically so you can feel the difference between a power shape and a control shape.

We're a small club, not a distributor. Is that a fit?

Yes. Clubs usually start with court equipment and a mixed rack of paddles or rackets for members and guests. Some of our best long-term partners began exactly that way and grew into full distribution later.

Can we sell IANONI products under our own brand?

Talk to us at the booth. Through our co-branding and custom colorway program, partners can build on our existing product platforms with their own branding. What's realistic depends on your market and volumes, so it's easier to discuss in person.

What if I can't attend the show?

Everything we're showing is available on our website at www.ianoni.com, and our team answers inquiries year-round. Write to michelle@ianoni.com and mention this article; I'll route you to the right person for your region.

Before you go

One request, whether you're a buyer with a spreadsheet or a club owner with a napkin sketch: pick up a racket before you leave. Spec sheets tell you what a product is. Your hands tell you whether your customers will come back for a second one.
